Other projects for 2008 included the True Colors Tour and a Christmas duet with Swedish rock band [[the Hives]], entitled "[[A Christmas Duel]]". In 2009, Lauper guest starred on her first of five episodes of [[Bones (TV series)|''Bones'']] on [[Fox Broadcasting Company|Fox]], as psychic Avalon Harmonia.
