At a reorganization meeting held in January after each election, the newly constituted Board of Commissioners selects one of its members to serve as director and another as deputy director.<ref name=About>[https://www.camdencounty.com/about-the-commissioners/ About the Board of Commissioners], Camden County, New Jersey.
