After leaving the U.S. Senate, Frist taught at Princeton and Vanderbilt. From 2007- 2008 Frist served as the Frederick H. Frist also became a co-chair of One Vote '08, an initiative of the [[ONE campaign]], with former Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle (D-SD).
