===2001–2021: Music projects with NASA and ESA=== [[File:Vangelis HonoraryDoct.jpg|thumb|180px|Vangelis receiving his honorary doctorate at the [[National and Kapodistrian University of Athens]] in 2008]] In 2001, Vangelis performed live, and subsequently released, the choral symphony ''[[Mythodea]]'', which was used by [[NASA]] as the theme for the [[2001 Mars Odyssey|Mars Odyssey]] mission.
