In Australia, ''Tory'' is occasionally used as a pejorative term by members of the [[Australian Labor Party]] to refer to conservative members of the [[Liberal Party of Australia]] and [[National Party of Australia]] parties (who are in [[Coalition (Australia)|a long-standing coalition]]).<ref>{{cite book|last=Sparkes|first=A.
