Streets and places have been given his name in the cities of [[Paris]], [[Brest, France|Brest]], [[Albertville]],  [[Auxerre]], [[Lyon]], [[Marseille]], [[Périgueux]], attempts to change these street names have always failed up to now.{{Time needed|date=February 2025}}
