[[AV nodal reentrant tachycardia]] (AVNRT) is the most common reentrant tachycardia. It is a regular [[supraventricular tachycardia|narrow complex tachycardia]] that usually responds well to the [[Valsalva maneuver]] or the drug [[adenosine]]. However, unstable patients sometimes require synchronized [[cardioversion]].
