* The northern solstice passed from [[Leo (constellation)|Leo]] into [[Cancer (constellation)|Cancer]] in year −1458, passed into [[Gemini (constellation)|Gemini]] in year −10, passed into [[Taurus (constellation)|Taurus]] in December 1989, and is expected to pass into [[Aries (constellation)|Aries]] in year 4609.
