Numerous bands have recorded songs about Vicious. In Remy Bond's 2024 'Summer Song', Sid and Nancy are mentioned in the line "I want real love just like Sid and Nancy". 
In his 2022 album ''[[Mainstream Sellout]]'', artist [[Machine Gun Kelly (musician)|Machine Gun Kelly]] released a track titled "Sid & Nancy", about a couple who was deeply in love but shared some dark ideas. The song ends with the sound of two consecutive gunshots.
