It contains three video documentaries about the film, a photo gallery with an audio commentary by Lumet, and a forty-four page booklet.{{sfn|Masters of Cinema staff|2014}} A [[Serpico (TV series)|television series]] based on Maas's book and the motion picture was broadcast on [[NBC]] between September 1976 and January 1977, with [[David Birney]] as Serpico.{{sfn|Hischak, Thomas|2014|p=212}} Fourteen episodes were broadcast, but the fifteenth was not aired.
