The [[2018β19 NHL season|2018β19 season]] saw another playoff berth for the Sharks, overcoming a 3β1 series lead, once again by the Vegas Golden Knights, and in a dramatic comeback in the third period of game seven in the first round. The Sharks would go on to defeat the [[Colorado Avalanche]] in the second round in seven games to make it into the conference finals, falling to the eventual Stanley Cup champion [[St. Louis Blues]] in six games.
