The [[Seacoast United Phantoms]] are a soccer team based in Portsmouth. Freedom Rugby Football Club is a men's [[rugby union]] team based in Portsmouth, founded in the summer of 2014. The club is an active member of USA Rugby and New England Rugby Football Union (NERFU).

The New England Lightning of the [[American Basketball Association (2000–present)|American Basketball Association]] (ABA) have played at [[Portsmouth High School (New Hampshire)|Portsmouth High School]] since 2024.
