As of March 2011, there were a total of 5,928 registered voters in Pittsgrove Township, of which 1,618 (27.3% vs. 30.6% countywide) were registered as [[Democratic Party (United States)|Democrats]], 1,223 (20.6% vs. 21.0%) were registered as [[Republican Party (United States)|Republicans]] and 3,085 (52.0% vs. 48.4%) were registered as [[Unaffiliated (New Jersey)|Unaffiliated]].
