Since 2004, Criss has kept his public appearances to a minimum. In April 2025, it was announced that Criss would release a hard rock solo album produced by [[Barry Poynter|Barry Pointer]] and featuring performances by [[Billy Sheehan]], [[Piggy D.]], [[John 5]], Mike McLaughlin and [[Paul Shaffer]].
