He scored two goals in [[1958 FIFA World Cup Final|that final]] as Brazil beat [[Sweden men's national football team|Sweden]] 5–2 in Stockholm, the capital. Pelé hit the post and then [[Vavá]] scored two goals to give Brazil the lead.
