[[Stonor Park]], another country mansion, has belonged to the [[Recusancy|recusant]] Stonor family for centuries. [[Mapledurham House]] is an [[Elizabethan era|Elizabethan]] stately home in the south-east of the county, close to [[Reading, Berkshire|Reading]]. [[The Abbey, Sutton Courtenay|The Abbey]] in [[Sutton Courtenay]] is a medieval [[courtyard house]].
