After the fall of authoritarianism in [[Portugal]] after the [[Carnation Revolution]] of 1974, several neo-fascist groups arose such as the [[New Order (Portugal)]] which was created in 1978. The New Order was disbanded in 1982, however its activities continued to as late as 1985.
