It was scrapped in 1921. The Royal Navy {{sclass|Hawkins|cruiser}} {{HMS|Frobisher|D81|6}} was named after him. It was ordered in 1915 and scrapped in 1949. A [[SR Lord Nelson class]] [[steam locomotive]] was named after him.
