| Natively known as ''Euskara'', the Basque language is found in the historical region of the [[Basque Country (greater region)|Basque Country]] between France and Spain. It has no known living relatives, although [[Aquitanian language|Aquitanian]] is commonly regarded as related to or a direct ancestor of Basque.
