== Education == The [[Keokuk Community School District]] has two elementary schools (George Washington, and Hawthorne), Keokuk Middle School, and [[Keokuk High School]]. Several additional elementary schools have been closed over the years (Torrence, Lincoln, Garfield, Wells Carey, and Jefferson).
