Huron High School's mascot is the "Tigers". 2022-2023 enrollment is approximately 2900 students. It was the home of [[Huron University|Si Tanka University]] (formerly Huron College) from 1883 to 2005. Huron is also home to a Catholic elementary school called Holy Trinity School, and a private non-denomination K-12 School, [[James Valley Christian School]].
