== Education ==
Herriman has two high schools, [[Herriman High School]], which opened in 2010, and [[Mountain Ridge High School (Utah)|Mountain Ridge High School]], which opened in 2019.<ref>{{Cite web|title=MRHS-Community Open House {{!}} Mountain Ridge High School|url=https://www.mountainridgesentinels.org/apps/events/2019/8/16/6922912/|access-date=2021-02-05|website=www.mountainridgesentinels.org}}</ref> Herriman also is home to Fort Herriman Middle School and Copper Mountain Middle School. Elementary schools include Herriman, Butterfield Canyon, Silvercrest, Blackridge, Bastian, and Ridge View, which also opened in the 2019–2020 school year. In addition to the 6 elementary schools serving grades K-6, Juniper Elementary School serves grades 4-6 and was built to relieve crowding at Ridge View. Herriman also is home to five charter schools: Providence Hall High School, Providence Hall Junior High School, Providence Hall Elementary School, and Athlos Academy.
