Cashmere is home to [[Liberty Orchards]], the maker of [[Aplets & Cotlets]] confectionaries. Rieke and H.H. Rieke after the failure of two banks during the beginning of the [[Great Depression]]. Today, they are one of the largest financial institutions in Central Washington.
