==Super Six== Teams who qualified for the Super Six stage only played against the teams from the other group; results against the other teams from the same group were carried forward to this stage. Results against the non-qualifying teams were therefore discarded at this point. As a result of League match losses against New Zealand and Pakistan, even though Australia finished second in their group, they progressed to the Super Six stage with no points carried forward (PCF). India faced similar circumstances, finishing 2nd in their group but carrying forward 0 points after losing to fellow qualifiers Zimbabwe and South Africa. During their super six clash, Pakistan and India were officially at war at the time of their match, the only time this has ever happened in the history of the sport. {| class="wikitable" ! colspan="2" |Points carried forward (PCF) |- !Results !Against qualified teams |- |Win | align="center" |2 points |- |No result / tie | align="center" |1 points |- |Loss | align="center" |0 point |} {| class="wikitable" style="text-align:center" |- !Pos ! width="175" |Team !width=20 abbr="Played"|Pld !width=20 abbr="Won"|W !width=20 abbr="Lost"|L !width=20 abbr="No result"|NR !width=20 abbr="Tied"|T !width=20 abbr="Net run rate"|NRR !width=20 abbr="Points"|Pts !width=20 abbr="Points carried forward"|PCF |- style="background:#ccffcc" |1 | style="text-align:left" |PAK |5||3||2||0||0||0.65||6||4 |- style="background:#ccffcc" |2 | style="text-align:left" |AUS |5||3||2||0||0||0.36||6||0 |- style="background:#ccffcc" |3 | style="text-align:left" |RSA |5||3||2||0||0||0.17||6||2 |- style="background:#ccffcc" |4 | style="text-align:left" |NZL |5||2||2||1||0||β0.52||5||2 |- |5 | style="text-align:left" |ZIM |5||2||2||1||0||β0.79||5||4 |- |6 | style="text-align:left" |IND |5||1||4||0||0||β0.15||2||0 |- | | colspan="9" style="text-align:left" |Source: Cricinfo |} ---- ---- {{Single-innings cricket match | date = 6β7 June 1999 | team1 = ZIM | score1 = 175 (49.3 overs) | score2 = 70/3 (15 overs) | team2 = NZL | runs1 = Murray Goodwin 57 (90) | wickets1 = Chris Cairns 3/24 (6.3 overs) | runs2 = Matt Horne 35 (35) | wickets2 = Guy Whittall 1/9 (3 overs) | result = No result | report = Scorecard | venue = Headingley, Leeds | umpires = Dave Orchard (SA) and Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan (Ind) | motm = | toss = Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat. | rain = Rain interrupted play .
