== Features == The World Calendar is a 12-month, perennial calendar with equal quarters. Each quarter begins on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday. The quarters are equal: each has exactly 91 days, 13 weeks, or 3 months. The three months in each quarter have 31, 30, and 30 days respectively. Each quarter begins with the 31-day months of January, April, July, or October. The World Calendar also has the following two additional days to maintain the same new year days as the Gregorian calendar. ; Worldsday : The last day of the year following Saturday 30 December. This additional day is dated "W" and named Worldsday, a year-end world holiday. It is followed by Sunday, 1 January in the new year. ; Leapyear Day : This day is similarly added at the end of the second quarter in leap years. It is also dated "W" and named Leapyear Day. It is followed by Sunday, 1 July within the same year. The World Calendar treats Worldsday and Leapyear Day as a 24-hour waiting period before resuming the calendar again. These off-calendar days, also known as "intercalary days", are not assigned weekday designations. They are intended to be treated as holidays. Because any three-month sequence repeats with the same arrangement of days, the World Calendar can be expressed concisely: {| class="wikitable" |+ World Calendar months layout, repeating each quarter-year |- | style="border-bottom: medium solid #A3BFB1"| ! style="border-bottom: medium solid #BFB1A3" colspan=5| 1st month ! style="border-bottom: medium solid #B1A3BF" colspan=4| 2nd month ! style="border-bottom: medium solid #A3B1BF" colspan=4| 3rd month ! style="border-bottom: medium solid #BFA3B1"| W |- ! style="background:#CEF2E0"| Q1 ! style="background:#F2E0CE" colspan=5| January ! style="background:#E0CEF2" colspan=4| February ! style="background:#CEE0F2" colspan=4| March | |- ! style="background:#CEF2E0"| Q2 ! style="background:#F2E0CE" colspan=5| April ! style="background:#E0CEF2" colspan=4| May ! style="background:#CEE0F2" colspan=4| June ! style="background:#F2CEE0"| |- ! style="background:#CEF2E0"| Q3 ! style="background:#F2E0CE" colspan=5| July ! style="background:#E0CEF2" colspan=4| August ! style="background:#CEE0F2" colspan=4| September | |- ! style="background:#CEF2E0; border-bottom: medium solid #A3BFB1"| Q4 ! style="background:#F2E0CE; border-bottom: medium solid #BFB1A3" colspan=5| October ! style="background:#E0CEF2; border-bottom: medium solid #B1A3BF" colspan=4| November ! style="background:#CEE0F2; border-bottom: medium solid #A3B1BF" colspan=4| December ! style="background:#F2CEE0; border-bottom: medium solid #BFA3B1"| |- !rh| Su | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 01 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 08 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 15 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 22 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 29 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 05 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 12 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 19 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 26 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 03 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 10 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 17 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 24 | rowspan=7| |- !rh| Mo | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 02 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 09 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 16 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 23 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 30 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 06 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 13 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 20 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 27 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 04 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 11 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 18 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 25 |- !rh| Tu | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 03 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 10 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 17 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 24 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 31 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 07 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 14 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 21 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 28 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 05 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 12 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 19 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 26 |- !rh| We | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 04 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 11 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 18 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 25 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 01 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 08 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 15 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 22 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 29 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 06 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 13 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 20 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 27 |- !rh| Th | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 05 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 12 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 19 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 26 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 02 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 09 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 16 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 23 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 30 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 07 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 14 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 21 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 28 |- !rh| Fr | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 06 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 13 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 20 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 27 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 03 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 10 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 17 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 24 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 01 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 08 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 15 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 22 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 29 |- !rh| Sa | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 07 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 14 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 21 | style="background:#F2E0CE" | 28 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 04 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 11 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 18 | style="background:#E0CEF2" | 25 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 02 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 09 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 16 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 23 | style="background:#CEE0F2" | 30 |- !rh| W | colspan=13| Worldsday follows December; Leapyear Day follows June | style="background:#F2CEE0"| W |}
