According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the borough had a total area of 1.62 square miles (4.18&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>), including 1.58 square miles (4.08&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) of land and 0.04 square miles (0.10&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>) of water (2.47%).<ref name=CensusArea/><ref name=GR1 />
