==Geography== The township is in eastern Jefferson County and surrounds the borough of [[Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania|Reynoldsville]]. It is bordered to the southeast by the borough of [[Sykesville, Pennsylvania|Sykesville]] and to the northeast by the borough of [[Falls Creek, Pennsylvania|Falls Creek]]. The eastern border of the township is the [[Clearfield County, Pennsylvania|Clearfield County]] line. Unincorporated communities in the township include [[Rathmel, Pennsylvania|Rathmel]], [[Sandy Valley, Pennsylvania|Sandy Valley]], [[Prescottville, Pennsylvania|Prescottville]], [[Soldier, Pennsylvania|Soldier]], [[Wishaw, Pennsylvania|Wishaw]], [[Pancoast, Pennsylvania|Pancoast]], O'Donnell, and Deemers Crossroads. [[U.S. Route 322 in Pennsylvania|U.S. Route 322]] crosses the township from east to west, passing through Reynoldsville, and [[U.S. Route 119 in Pennsylvania|U.S. Route 119]] crosses the southeastern corner of the township before entering Sykesville.
