Wesley Chapel is located in the townships of [[Monroe Township, Union County, North Carolina|Monroe]] and [[Sandy Ridge Township, Union County, North Carolina|Sandy Ridge]] in eastern Union County, North Carolina. According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 9.8 square miles (25.39&nbsp;km<sup>2</sup>). [[North Carolina Highway 84|NC-84]] passes through the village as Weddington Road.
