US 19 leads north {{convert|15|mi}} to downtown [[Erie, Pennsylvania|Erie]] and south [[Meadville, Pennsylvania|Meadville]], while PA 97 leads north {{convert|14.5|mi}} to Erie by a more easterly route and southeast {{convert|8|mi|0}} to [[Union City, Pennsylvania|Union City]].
