==Etymology==

In hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ (the Downriver dialect of Halkomelem) spoken by the [[Musqueam First Nation|Musqueam]], there is no specific term for Vancouver.{{efn|Note Suttles' (2004) p. 412 example of "təl̓ənəcə čxʷ. təlíʔ cən [ʔə] ƛ̓ Vancouver": ‘Where are you from?
