==History== Valentine was founded in 1882. The Valentine post office was established on December 4, 1882. According to a news report, "The [[Mountain Time Zone|mountain]] and [[Central Time Zone|central]] time zones meet at the center of Main Street, so an hour separates the two curb lines."
