==Geography==
According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the township has a total area of 75.1&nbsp;square miles (194.4&nbsp;km{{sup|2}}), of which 75.0&nbsp;square&nbsp;miles (194.4&nbsp;km{{sup|2}})  is land and 0.01% is water.

Ulysses Township is bordered by [[Bingham Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania|Bingham Township]] to the north, the [[borough (Pennsylvania)|borough]] of [[Ulysses, Pennsylvania|Ulysses]] to the northeast, [[Hector Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania|Hector]] and [[Pike Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania|Pike Township]]s to the east, [[West Branch Township, Pennsylvania|West Branch Township]] to the south, and [[Summit Township, Potter County, Pennsylvania|Summit]], [[Sweden Township, Pennsylvania|Sweden]] and [[Allegany Township, Pennsylvania|Allegany Township]]s to the west.

The township is home to one of North America's major [[triple divide]]s. Located near the intersection of Kidney Road and Rooks Road southeast of Raymond, and situated more than 2500 feet above sea level, the hilltop is where the [[Eastern Continental Divide|Eastern]] and [[Saint Lawrence River Divide|St. Lawrence]] divides meet, and is the easternmost point of the [[Mississippi River]] watershed. To the north, the Middle Branch Genesee River flows to the main [[Genesee River]], then into [[Lake Ontario]] and the [[St. Lawrence River]]; to the west, the [[Allegheny River]] feeds the [[Ohio River|Ohio]] and then the Mississippi; and to the east, [[Pine Creek (Pennsylvania)|Pine Creek]] flows respectively into the [[West Branch Susquehanna River]], the [[Susquehanna River]] and the [[Chesapeake Bay]].
