His parents are Celia (nΓ©e Abrams), a lingerie store proprietor, and Leonard Raimi, a furniture store proprietor. He attended [[University of Michigan]], [[New York University]], then finally [[University of Detroit]]. Raimi's older brothers are director [[Sam Raimi]] and screenwriter [[Ivan Raimi]].
