This mission was originally to be flown in August 1986 as [[STS-61-J]] using [[Space Shuttle Atlantis|''Atlantis'']], but was postponed due to the [[Space Shuttle Challenger disaster|''Challenger'' disaster]]. [[John Young (astronaut)|John W.
