==Early life and education == [[File:Sosuke Uno 1952.jpg|thumb|Sōsuke Uno (at the [[:ja:守山映画劇場|Daikokuza Theatre]] on 1952). ]] Uno was born in [[Moriyama, Shiga]]. His family owned a [[sake]] brewery called Arachō, and had served as town officials (Japanese: ''Toshiyori'').
