==Geography==

Roberts County is at South Dakota's northeastern corner. Its eastern boundary abuts [[Minnesota]] (across the [[Bois de Sioux River]]), and its northern boundary abuts [[North Dakota]]. The Cottonwood Slough flows southward, draining the upper portion of the county into the River.
