==Geography==
Redford is located along the southern border of the town of Saranac at {{coord|44|36|24|N|73|48|31|W|type:city}} (44.606552, -73.808596).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> It is on the north side of the [[Saranac River]], which flows east to [[Lake Champlain]]. [[New York State Route 3]] passes through the village, leading east {{convert|21|mi}} to Plattsburgh and southwest {{convert|28|mi}} to [[Saranac Lake, New York|Saranac Lake]].

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the Redford CDP has a total area of {{convert|3.8|km2|disp=flip}}, of which {{convert|3.5|km2|disp=flip}} is land and {{convert|0.3|km2|disp=flip}}, or 7.45%, is water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>
