==Origin and composition==
The fluid is discharged from the urethra of the penis during [[sexual arousal|arousal]], [[masturbation]], [[foreplay]] or at an early stage during [[sexual intercourse]], some time before the individual fully reaches [[orgasm]] and semen is [[Ejaculation|ejaculated]].
