==Geography==
Pleasant Hill is located in central Lebanon County at {{coord|40|20|10|N|76|26|39|W|region:US_type:city}} (40.336082, -76.444248).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geo/www/gazetteer/gazette.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> It is bordered to the east and southeast by the city of [[Lebanon, Pennsylvania|Lebanon]], the [[county seat]], and to the west by the borough of [[Cleona, Pennsylvania|Cleona]]. Pleasant Hill is in parts of three townships: the western end is in [[North Lebanon Township, Pennsylvania|North Lebanon Township]], the northeast part is in [[West Lebanon Township, Pennsylvania|West Lebanon Township]], and the majority of the community is in [[North Cornwall Township, Pennsylvania|North Cornwall Township]].

[[U.S. Route 422]] (West Cumberland Avenue) is the main road through Pleasant Hill; it leads east through Lebanon {{convert|29|mi}} to [[Reading, Pennsylvania|Reading]] and west-southwest {{convert|12|mi}} to [[Hershey, Pennsylvania|Hershey]]. [[Harrisburg, Pennsylvania|Harrisburg]], the state capital, is {{convert|26|mi}} west of Pleasant Hill.
