==Geography==
Pinewood Estates is located in southern Hardin County. [[Texas State Highway 105]] forms the southern boundary of the community, leading east {{convert|9|mi|0}} to the [[U.S. Route 69 in Texas|U.S. Route 69]] freeway in northern [[Beaumont, Texas|Beaumont]] and west {{convert|5|mi|0}} to [[Sour Lake, Texas|Sour Lake]].
