The track was removed a few years later.

===2014 tornadoes===

Shortly after 4 p.m. on June 16, 2014, the town was struck by an [[Enhanced Fujita scale|EF4]] tornado. Two people, including a five-year-old girl, were killed, and sixteen were critically injured.
