== Early life and educa ==

After completing his compulsory schooling in Menzingen, he attended the Zug Cantonal School followed by the [[Einsiedeln Abbey|Einsiedeln Abbey School]] where he completed his [[Matura]]. He then studied [[Law]] at the [[University of Zurich]] and was admitted to the bar of [[Canton of Schwyz|Schwyz]].
