Geophysically, it is located within the great bend of the lower [[Lehigh River]] mouth region north of [[Allentown, Pennsylvania|Allentown]], north-northwest of [[Bethlehem, Pennsylvania|Bethlehem]], and west of [[Easton, Pennsylvania|Easton]] on the mouth of the [[Lehigh River]]. Moore Township drains into the [[Delaware River]] through [[Catasauqua Creek|Catasauqua]],<ref name=nwismap>Source appears located in ravine 600-800 east of kink in West Dannersville Road, 1200 ft south of [[PA 248|Pheasant Drive]] (W. Its landscapes compose the foothills south of its natural northern boundary, which is the over {{convert|150|mi}}-long [[Blue Mountain (Pennsylvania)|Blue Mountain]] [[barrier ridge]].
