The racial makeup of the CDP was 77.6% [[Race (United States Census)|White]], 20.9% [[Race (United States Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], 0.3% [[Race (United States Census)|Native American]], 0.0% [[Race (United States Census)|Asian]], and 0.5% from two or more races. 1.5% of the population were [[Race (United States Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Race (United States Census)|Latino]] of any race.

The racial makeup of the CDP was 97.67% [[Race (United States Census)|White]], 0.90% [[Race (United States Census)|Black]] or [[Race (United States Census)|African American]], 0.72% [[Race (United States Census)|Native American]], 0.09% [[Race (United States Census)|Asian]], and 0.63% from two or more races. 0.36% of the population were [[Race (United States Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Race (United States Census)|Latino]] of any race.
