==Geography==
Mango is located north of the geographic center of Hillsborough County at {{coord|27|59|22|N|82|18|16|W|type:city}} (27.989333, -82.304395).<ref name="GR1">{{cite web|url=https://www.census.gov/geographies/reference-files/time-series/geo/gazetteer-files.html|publisher=[[United States Census Bureau]]|accessdate=2011-04-23|date=2011-02-12|title=US Gazetteer files: 2010, 2000, and 1990}}</ref> It is bordered to the north by [[Thonotosassa, Florida|Thonotosassa]], to the east by [[Seffner, Florida|Seffner]], to the south by [[Brandon, Florida|Brandon]], and to the west by [[East Lake-Orient Park, Florida|East Lake-Orient Park]]. [[Interstate 4]] forms the northern boundary of the CDP, and [[Interstate 75]] is the western boundary. The main road through the center of Mango is Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard ([[Florida State Road 574]]). [[Downtown Tampa]] is {{convert|10|mi|0}} to the west, and [[Plant City, Florida|Plant City]] is {{convert|12|mi}} to the east.

According to the [[United States Census Bureau]], the Mango CDP has a total area of {{convert|12.4|km2|order=flip}}, of which {{convert|12.1|km2|order=flip}} are land and {{convert|0.3|km2|order=flip|1}}, or 2.95%, are water.<ref name="Census 2010"/>
