==Early life==
Minnelli was born on March 12, 1946, at the [[Cedars-Sinai Medical Center|Cedars of Lebanon]] Hospital in [[Hollywood, Los Angeles|Hollywood]]. Minnelli's first performing experience on film was at age three appearing in the final scene of the musical ''[[In the Good Old Summertime]]'' (1949); the film stars Garland and [[Van Johnson]].
