==Early life== Lindsay Davenport is the daughter of [[Wink Davenport]], who was a member of the U.S. [[Volleyball at the 1968 Summer Olympics|volleyball team]] at the [[1968 Summer Olympics]] in Mexico City, and Ann L. She excelled at junior level competitions and swept the singles and doubles titles at the National Girls' 18s and Clay Court Championships in 1991 and won the Junior U.S. Open in 1992.<ref name="latimes1994"/>
