==Geography==
The terrain of Jones County consists of semi-arid rolling hills, partially devoted to agriculture. The [[Bad River (South Dakota)|Bad River]] flows north easterly through the northwest corner of the county, and the [[White River (Missouri River tributary)|White River]] forms the county's southern boundary.
