By 1910, Jimmy Doolittle was attending school in [[Los Angeles]]. He attended [[Los Angeles City College]] after graduating from [[Manual Arts High School]], together with later film director [[Frank Capra]], in [[Los Angeles]]. He entered the [[University of California, Berkeley]], where he studied at the [[Hearst Memorial Mining Building|College of Mines]]. He was a member of [[Theta Kappa Nu]] fraternity, which later merged into [[Lambda Chi Alpha]] during the later stages of the [[Great Depression]].
