== History == Jefferson was incorporated in 1904.<ref>[http://www.seejeffersonsc.com/ Town of Jefferson website]</ref> Jefferson was founded in the 1760 by the Miller Family, and was named Millersville. You can find many Millers buried at the Miller family cemetery on main street.
